The Center for Dzogchen Studies, located in New Haven, CT, is dedicated to the teachings and practices of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
In the ordained Ngakphang, or tantric white-robed lineage, teachings are given from the perspective where everyday experience is embraced as a precious opportunity to realize one’s
own true nature. Through this process, one discovers that the awakened state of absolute peace, compassion, and wisdom already exists within.
Dorje Loppön, Padma Karma Rinpoche, is Resident Director and an ordained Ngakpa. His teachings flow from Pukang Monastery, Arik Dza, Kham, Tibet, under the direction of Patrul Jigme Rikpey Dorje Palzangpo Rinpoche.

Patrul Jigme Rikpey Dorje Palzangpo Rinpoche
and Lama Padma Karma Rinpoche USA 2007
Patrul Rinpoche's final teaching to us was
his
passing in
October 2008. Patrul Rinpoche's kindness and compassion
for his students had no boundries. Before his passing
he made sure that all
of us
would get proper guidance in his absence. Khenpo Chowang accepted
Patrul Rinpoche's request and made his first visit to our center in May 2009. |
